I wanted to create a custom LED font, so I did, making sure to check for errors... It is useful for many things. (Electronically and in Real Life) (e.g. Documents, coding, signage, games, LED signs, calculators, etc.)

Alan Birch created the LCD font in 1981. Its name is an abbreviation of the words Liquid Crystal Display," the display technology used in digital watches and clocks the world over. LCD is a great choice when a futuristic, high-tech look is desired.

Since the release of these fonts most typefaces in the Scangraphic Type Collection appear in two versions. One is designed specifically for headline typesetting (SH: Scangraphic Headline Types) and one specifically for text typesetting (SB Scangraphic Bodytypes). The most obvious differentiation can be found in the spacing. That of the Bodytypes is adjusted for readability. That of the Headline Types is decidedly more narrow in order to do justice to the requirements of headline typesetting. The kerning tables, as well, have been individualized for each of these type varieties. In addition to the adjustment of spacing, there are also adjustments in the design. For the Bodytypes, fine spaces were created which prevented the smear effect on acute angles in small typesizes. For a number of Bodytypes, hairlines and serifs were thickened or the whole typeface was adjusted to meet the optical requirements for setting type in small sizes. For the German lower-case diacritical marks, all Headline Types complements contain alternative integrated accents which allow the compact setting of lower-case headlines.

DIGOT is a pixel-style, grid-based, geometric, display typeface. The idea for this font was born while combining lettering and illustrations in a geometric and pixel art style. What was needed was a font built with attention to detail for an interesting and unconventional creation of text and geometric images. The font is designed so that its modules lie on a grid and have their own rhythm and geometric order. So that it gives great editing possibilities and allows you to maintain a unique look. Optimal kerning is important here. The spacing between and within characters is well thought and designed to respect these rules (e.g. full pixel increments). Digot typeface offers a lot of creative possibilities in many types of graphic design and digital art. Posters, t-shirts, apparel printing, as well as website design, brand identity, and much more. The font contains a large range of characters, numbers, punctuation. Although it is an all-caps font, the T character is in two options.
